Minds-on, hands-on science lessons delivered to your school!
Debbie Lanier, a former certified teacher, brings Nature in a Nutshell to your classroom and conducts a science lesson with your students. Nature in a Nutshell serves kindergarten through fourth grade students in public and private school. All lessons are correlated to the Georgia Performance Standards for Science, with hands-on activities relating science to the environment and the everyday world (click on each lesson description from the center menu to see standards for that lesson). More than just "show and tell," these student-centered activities are integrated lessons designed to engage all types of learners. Student participation in the lessons sparks student interest in and curiosity about the natural world.
