Minds-on, hands-on science lessons delivered to your school!
Debbie Lanier, a former certified teacher, brings “Nature in a Nutshell” to your classroom or home school group and conducts a science lesson with your students. Nature in a Nutshell serves public and private schools, home school groups, church and youth groups, preschools, daycares, and other PreK-5th grade educational programs in the Metro Atlanta area. All lessons are correlated to the Georgia Performance Standards for Science, with hands-on activities relating science to the environment and the everyday world. More than just "show and tell," these student-centered activities are integrated lessons designed to engage all types of learners. Student participation in the lessons sparks student interest in and curiosity about the natural world.
