meta-, meta-, metamorphosis

Through story, chants and observation of real animals, students learn about the life cycles of insects and amphibians (metamorphosis) and compare them to reptiles and birds. An extensive collection of insects is used to show all the stages of insect life cycles. The students love learning the difference between amphibians and reptiles by touching a live salamander and snake.
