the three sisters garden

Children learn how and what the Native Americans planted and why they planted the “Three Sisters.” Children learn about companion planting, food origins, plant parts and the life cycle of plants. Each child plants a “Three Sisters” garden to take home.

Materials Fee: $1.50 per student

Grades 1-2
